DHA Gandhara — Phase 9
DHA Gandhara (Phase 9) is a master-planned lakeside city of more than 32,000 Kanal developed under the DHA Islamabad–Rawalpindi umbrella, master planned by Surbana Jurong of Singapore and delivered with Habib Rafiq (Pvt) Ltd. Six districts — waterfront, golf, knowledge, medical, sport and commercial — sit minutes from the New Islamabad International Airport, the M-2 Motorway and the Rawalpindi Ring Road.
DHA Gandhara is the newest and largest address in the DHA Islamabad–Rawalpindi portfolio: a contiguous land bank of over 32,000 Kanal planned as a complete lakeside city rather than a single housing block. The masterplan is prepared by Surbana Jurong, the Singapore-based planning firm behind several of Asia's new towns, with infrastructure delivery by Habib Rafiq (Pvt) Ltd.
Six districts organise the city. The Lake District holds the waterfront frontage and villa precincts; The Fairways is built around an 18-hole championship golf course spread over 250+ acres; Knowledge City and Medical City anchor education and healthcare; The Arena carries sport and entertainment, including a 1,400+ Kanal theme park; and The Boulevard is the commercial spine.
